About Illinois Summer Camp Day
Illinois Summer Camp Day is a day of celebration and education that brings awareness to the essential services and transformative experiences that camps provide youth and adults in Illinois. During this day, we acknowledge and honor the people who make camp happen, including year-round professionals, camp staff, volunteers, and all other supporters. With over 555 day and overnight camps, 16,000+ workers, and thousands of campers served each year, camp is essential to Illinois families.
